St Albans, UK – EuroBLECH Digital Innovation Series’ first event on Forming Technology, held online from April 27-28, 2021, provided the international sheet metal working community with its first meeting platform this year.
Over 2,000 people registered for the event, with 1,384 visitors from 70 countries active on the event platform. During the two virtual event days, participants used the opportunity to log on to the platform to network, watch webinar content live and on demand, view product demonstrations, and visit virtual showrooms of exhibitors.
This new event format has proven to be successful in recent times, with many participants from all over the world joining to discover innovations, trends, and current solutions in the sheet metal working industry, with Germany, Turkey, Spain, Italy, India, the UK, the Netherlands, Brazil, Japan, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, the USA, and Poland being the most important visitor countries. The event drew a sizable number of participants from top management with decision-making and purchasing power.
This April edition series was an online trading, networking, and webinar event for professionals in the forming technology area of sheet metal working technology. Visitors could virtually meet relevant exhibitors in pre-booked and drop-in meetings, use a new online chat function, watch informative product presentations, and participate in webinars on current industry trends, which were followed by live Q&A Sessions. Mechanical engineering, sheet metal products, and the automotive industry were the most important sectors represented by the participants.
EuroBLECH goes DIGITAL: The Webinar Programme, a daily series of webinars led by industry experts that allowed participants to gain valuable insights into the most recent market developments as well as technical expertise on new industry applications and solutions. Exclusive insights into the latest technologies and case studies on Forming Technology were provided by key industry players as well as associations. During the event, 13 speakers, five webinar sessions, and three exhibitor product showcases were featured, with participants watching the content for nearly 500 streaming hours in total. During and after the event, participants watched two webinars on the platform on average.

The second event in the EuroBLECH Digital Innovation Series 2021 will be held on June 29-30, 2021 and will focus on Separation and Joining Technologies as well as Additive Manufacturing.
