Bengaluru, India – Dassault Systèmes presents the theme of ‘Digitalization to realize a thriving Aerospace, Defence and Space ecosystem,’ at the 13th edition of Aero India 2021. It is showcasing technology solutions to improve supply chain collaboration, design for flexible manufacturing, manage complex systems and accelerate program integration to deliver high performance operations. The company experts are present at booth numbers A6.6 and A6.8, to provide an insight on bridging the gap between the virtual and real world to accelerate concept to operations by 50 percent.
In addition to demonstrate the Industry Solution Experiences which include Program Excellence, Engineered to Fly, Winning Concept, Cleared To Operate, Co-Design to Target, Ready for Rate, and Build To Operate; ideas based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform that is tailor-made to meet the needs of the Aerospace and Defense industry. These solutions aim to help the industry to design, simulate and manufacture the new generation of advanced aircrafts, as well as aiding them prepare for future paradigms such as urban air mobility and vertical take-off / landings.
The respective sector in India is at an inflection point, given the widespread modernization and indigenization programs being undertaken by the Government. In this field, the companies must cater to stakeholder expectations of lower costs, higher standards and increase capabilities along with growing program complexity. Furthermore, OEMs and suppliers need to accelerate innovation, drive efficiencies, and move to the factory of the future to allow for greater agility on production rate, as systems become more complex to design, build and deliver.
Ravikiran Pothukuchi, Director & Industry lead - Aerospace & Defense (India), Dassault Systèmes, added, “Dassault Systemes in India enables the Aerospace and Defense sector with new way to conceptualize, design, manufacture, test, certify and sustain new air, land, water and space vehicles. We are working in domains of Military Aerospace, Civil Aerospace, Defense and Space programs with PSUs and private sector to address indigenous development of military aircrafts, components, indigenous development of regional transport vehicles in India, space and UAV MSMEs and startups across the country. We are also working closely with various State Governments to set up Centers of Excellence that can provide necessary training to the current and future generation of engineers, in the Aerospace and Defense industry.”
