KBL Launches Ready-to-use SP Coupled Pump-sets

Mumbai, India - Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) has introduced a range of energy-efficient and low maintenance SP Coupled pump-sets. This newly developed pump-set comes with an integrated IE4 motor, making it most suitable for Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) / Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and dewatering applications in the industry. It can also handle liquids with temperatures up to 120° C. It has a lower life cycle & operating cost, and can withstand extreme power fluctuation, making it comparatively safer to use. Its solid body is also an indicator of the greater reliability and longevity of the product.

The product's fan and fan cover design for efficient power consumption and quiet operation are other important characteristics. The high quality of its mechanical seal prevents leakage, ensures lower friction loss and shielding the shaft against wear and tear. The pump’s non-clog impeller can handle suspended soft solids of up to 40 mm and is coated for corrosion resistance with Cathodic Electro Deposition (CED). Being factory assembled and tested, these pump-sets are ready-for-use at the customer site. It can also be serviced locally at the company's authorized service centre.
