Munich, Germany - Europe’s leading system partner for quality tools, Hoffmann Group ‘Click & Clamp’ GARANT Xtric, centering vice expanded its range by four new base lengths. The vice’s XS size is now available with a base length of just 136mm for processing small components. Thus, the sizes XS, S, and M are now available in a jaw width of 80mm. In addition, other new vices with a jaw width of 125mm, 32kN clamping force, and a length of up to 270mm in the sizes XS, S, and M. All the six vice sizes in these two variants are alternatively available with pivot jaws.
The GARANT Xtric can also be converted into a double vice by changing the standard spindle bearing and inserting the centre jaw. The click mechanism helps the jaws with 180 degrees rotation and interchange precisely to the micrometre. Blanks can be clamped in these gripper jaws with top jaws appropriate for the "LANG" system, without pre-stamping. The GARANT Xtric also provides attachment to the machine table with adapter plates for clamping on the GARANT Zero Clamp zero point system or other zero point clamping systems. All models are equipped with an endutec automation interface that can be used as a coolant hole, as well as regular gripper mounting holes on both sides. Thus, making the assortment of centering vice ideally suited for a wide range of automation methodologies.
