Digital Premiere by Hannover Messe

Hannover, Germany – Hannover Messe is organizing its maiden digital event titled – ‘Hannover Messe Digital Days’, a virtual event for major industrial automation sectors on July 14-15, 2020. The digital event is based around the theme of industrial transformation focusing on what levers need to be applied to ensure that industry recovers quickly from the consequences of the shutdown.

The virtual event will majorly revolve around present industry trends such as Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, 5G, Smart Energy, Logistics 4.0, and so on. About 50 speakers and partners would address the participants during the two days. ‘Digital Days’ will serve as a meeting place for international manufacturing fraternity. 

Alongside the unveiling of product innovations and keynote presentations, one of the biggest highlights of the event is the announcement of the HERMES AWARD. For the first time, this internationally coveted technology prize will be awarded digitally. A jury chaired by Prof Dr. Reimund Neugebauer, President, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, selected the winner from among numerous high-quality submissions. Additionally, there will be a dedicated segment to celebrate the women industry leaders in the digital event – WomenPower.
