The all-new 16 cutting edge, double-sided, octagonal ONMU range of inserts and cutters from DURACARB is a versatile tool designed with helical geometries on the insert, and positive rake angle pocket on the cutter body. This results in reduced cutting forces during machining, giving it the ability to machine at high feed rates on both low power and high power spindle machines.

The inserts are available in two sizes: ONMU 05 for low depth of cut, low spindle power machines and ONMU 07 for moderate to high depth of cut and high spindle power machines. They are available in two chip geometries namely ML and M for better machining, as also in grades DC9800, DC9200, DP5035 ideal for machining Steel, SS and Cast Iron. Cutters are available in diameters 63mm to 160mm, while end mills in diameters 25mm and 32mm.
