The ST 500X / 2500 is an innovative, contemporarily designed product developed by Bharat Fritz Werner (BFW) in collaboration with SMT Swedish Machine Tool Company AB, Sweden to meet the complex 5-axis simultaneous machining applications of turning and milling. 

The product is suitable for machining applications in industrial sectors like Oil and Gas, Power, Construction and Mining Equipment Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering, Aerospace and Automobile. 

The Milling / Turning and Boring unit has motor spindle of 12,000 rpm in standard to cover different material machining applications like Cast iron, Steel. and Aluminum. 

The ST 500X can be offered in 2 different headstocks (170mm / 260 mm) and 3 different turning lengths (1500 mm / 2500 mm / 3500 mm). 

The different headstocks are equipped with an integrated gearbox with 2 steps or an integrated spindle with the C-axis. 

The high power and torque of the gear spindle (71 kW / 6,900 Nm) provide significant advantages in heavy-duty machining operations, positioning this product line firmly in the premium segment for such applications.
