Tool Holders

Eppinger Tool Holders are available in a wide range, tailored to various machines and applications. They include both Static and Driven/Live Tool Holders and are offered in BMT and VDI versions. Eppinger Tool Holders are known for their high precision and rigidity, delivering a unique user experience.

These Tool Holders feature a monoblock that is one-piece cage design that ensures better rigidity and stability. The use of taper roller double bearings enables the tool holders to withstand higher cutting torques. The patented Compensation Clutch for the interface tenon offers several advantages, including reduced backlash, elimination of misalignments, minimization of radial force against the bearing system, elimination of vibrations, and lower temperature and noise levels. These features collectively enhance productivity and reduce downtime for the user.

The 4-key design technology simplifies the mounting of tool holders on turrets. Additionally, the PRECI-FLEX® adapter system, first introduced by Eppinger, provides flexibility to use various adapters in all live tool holders. The PRECI-FLEX® interchange system makes lathe tooling change-overs quick, accurate and economical.

A conical and flat face planar interface ensures highest accuracy and rigidity. It’s practical and simple to use. Collets, endmill holders, expanding collet chucks, shrink fit tooling, to name just a few, can all be mounted on a single base holder. Interchanging pre-set tools reduce expensive machine downtime to almost nothing.
