Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association’s flagship international machine tool and manufacturing technology show in the world, IMTEX will be back at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, from January 23 – 29, 2025. Seamless travel to BIEC
Leaders from India’s machine tool industry expressed enthusiasm about the new metro connectivity from the city to the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), where IMTEX 2025 will be held from January 23-29, 2025.
The new 3.7 km extension of the Namma Metro Green Line from Nagasandra to Madavara, with stations such as Chikkabidarakallu and Madavara, offers seamless access to Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. This development marks a significant improvement in Bengaluru’s transit options for IMTEX visitors.
Jibak Dasgupta, Director General and CEO of, the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association IMTMA and BIEC mentioned, "One of the important aspects for this IMTEX is the new metro connectivity connecting directly the city with BIEC, greatly improving accessibility. Earlier reaching the venue was challenging, but with the metro, this issue is resolved, offering significant benefits to the show attendees.”

In alignment, Raghava Badhya TV, President & Director, Makino India Pvt Ltd, emphasized the metro’s direct access, saying, “The metro connection brings you right to the doorstep of BIEC, making this edition of IMTEX “bigger, better, with a lot more engineering, automation, and technologies to see.”
Similarly, Soundhar Rajhan K, Chief Strategy Officer at LMW Limited - LMW Machine Tool division, added that the metro connection is an added advantage for IMTEX 2025 goers as commuting to BIEC will be much better as there will be no traffic congestion.
