Eislingen, Germany – Zeller+Gmelin, the lubricant experts, are back at this year’s Automechanika and can be found at two trade fair stands: Hall 9.0 at Stand F61Z and in Hall 12.0 at Stand C61. Among other things, new truck engine oils, LS gear oils, and a wide range of additives will be on display.
Constantlyases, transmission, and engine oils, or brake fluids, as well as care, protection, and cleaning agents, the Zeller+Gmelin product range is broadly diversified, covers almost all areas of application in a car workshop, and is constantly being growing. Just in time for the leading aftermarket trade fair, the company is also expanding its lubricant portfolio to include a limited-slip (LS) axle drive oil.
Divinol MultiAxle LS 80W90 has been specially developed for hypoid-toothed axle drives and self-locking differentials. According to the manufacturer, it meets the highest performance requirements and is particularly suitable for demanding applications such as in the construction and agricultural sectors as well as in the logistics industry. Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen (ZF) has already approved it with the well-known ZF TE-ML 05N and 21N standards, making it backward compatible with the ZF TE-ML 05C and 21C standards.
“Thanks to its special formulation with high-quality, low-sulfur base oils, our new LS oil is extremely stable over the long term and significantly reduces transmission wear. It also enables longer service life and optimum protection against deposits,” says Andreas Krapf, Product Manager, Automotive and Automotive Special Products, Zeller+Gmelin, highlighting the outstanding features.
The slip transmission oil is also ideal for Liebherr construction machines, as it easily meets the required phosphorus values of >1900 ppm. In addition, it supports a grade adjustment in the fleet, as it is also suitable for normal GL-5 transmissions. “Divinol Multi-Axle LS 80W90 is an efficient and high-performance solution for mixed fleets and demanding operating conditions,” explains the Product Manager.
New Premium Engine Oils for Commercial Vehicles
The commercial vehicle portfolio has also been expanded with Divinol Multimax LSFE 5W30, a modern heavy-duty engine oil. In order to meet the increasing requirements of manufacturers, this low-sap engine oil fulfills the new API FA-4 and the manufacturer’s approval MB 228.61 and, according to Zeller+Gmelin, is ideal for exhaust gas aftertreatment systems with particulate filters. Thanks to its advanced low-ash formulation, it helps to significantly reduce clogging and poisoning of exhaust gas after treatment systems.
Manufactured on the basis of the highest quality base oils, the engine oil extends maintenance intervals. Modern oil technology reduces the HTHS viscosity (High Temperature High Shear) and thus saves fuel while providing optimum wear protection. “This allows us to offer our customers resource-saving and economic benefits through lower fuel costs and reduced emissions,” emphasizes Marc Schurr, Sales Manager Aftermarket - Divinol Division, Zeller+Gmelin.
Divinol Multimax LS-FE 5W30 is particularly suitable for the latest generation of engines, including Mercedes-Benz trucks with OM-470 and OM471-FE1 engines as well as Volvo vehicles that require the VDS-5 standard. “The only downer,” says Schurr, is that the engine oil is not backward compatible for vehicles with a standard HTHS viscosity.” |

Premium Additive Range for Motor Vehicles
A new Divinol premium additive range rounds off Zeller+Gmelin’s trade fair appearance. The expanded automotive portfolio ensures optimal and safe vehicle operation. The new additives are designed to improve vehicle handling and offer solutions for various applications in the automotive sector.
The overview:
Orange Divinol premium additive series as transmission oil system cleaner
“Our fuel additives maintain engine performance and protect important vehicle components,” says Krapf. “They ensure smoother engine running and can also reduce workshop visits.” Additives also contribute to more efficient fuel consumption and lower emissions—a clear benefit for the environment.
The Highlights of the New Additives
The ‘Divinol System Booster Benzin’ is an octane booster for fuels with a low octane rating or engines with an increased octane requirement. One can (250 ml) is sufficient for approx. 50-60 liters of fuel. The fuel system cleaner ‘Divinol System Booster Benzin’ dissolves hardened deposits and ensures better component care. This cleaner also improves running smoothness and reduces fuel consumption.
The ‘Divinol System Cleaner Diesel’ cleans the entire fuel system without the need for a workshop visit, optimizes the starting process, and reduces smoke development. ‘Divinol System Cleaner DPF’ is available for cleaning the exhaust tract and particulate filter. It ensures clean engine running and optimized emission values. Two new sealants are ‘Divinol Leak Stop Radiator’ and ‘Divinol Leak Stop Engine’: The former acts as a radiator sealant to close small cracks and leaks, thus preventing coolant loss. The second leak stop minimizes oil loss in engines and also regenerates worn seals. And last but not least, three new cleaning additives. The ‘Divinol System Cleaner Radiator’ optimizes water-based cooling circuits and removes limescale and sludge deposits. ‘Divinol System Cleaner Gearbox’ dissolves deposits in gearboxes. ‘Divinol System Cleaner Motor’ cleans the engine oil circuit, dissolves deposits, and keeps the engine clean and ready for operation. |
