Zen Technologies Unveils Futuristic Defence Technologies, Raises the Bar for Innovation

Hyderabad, India – Zen Technologies Ltd, a Hyderabad-headquartered startup that designs and manufactures combat training and counter-drones, has launched several innovative products for the global defence market. This launch, especially with its subsidiary, AI Turing Technologies, is a new step forward in its services and offerings.

Among the new products is Prahasta, an artificial intelligence robotic quadruped that is used for enhanced mission planning, route surveying, and threat identification, leveraging LiDAR (light detection and ranging) and reinforcement learning to map the terrain in three dimensions in real-time. 

The company also presented its Hawkeye anti-drone camera system, Barbarik-URCWS remote-controlled weapon station, and Sthir Stab 640 stabilized sight, developed for armored vehicles, ICVs, boats, etc. These innovations make a qualitative leap in autonomous defence operations and underscore the utility of robotics in combat as well as reconnaissance missions.

Zen Technologies claims that the Barbarik-URCWS is the world’s lightest remote-controlled weapon station, offering precise targeting capabilities for ground vehicles and naval vessels, thereby maximizing battlefield effectiveness while minimizing personnel risk. Its shares settled at INR 1,362 apiece on the BSE on July 15, up 5 percent from the previous close, reflecting investor confidence in Zen Technologies’ expanded range of cutting-edge technologies.
