Phillips Revolutionizes Small Part Machining with Compact, ‘Made in India’ PCM 220

Pune, India – Phillips Machine Tools announced the launch of its groundbreaking compact CNC milling machine, the PCM 220. Designed and developed entirely in India, this state-of-the-art VMC (Vertical Machining Center) is poised to transform the landscape of small part machining, particularly within the Indian MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) and SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) sectors.

The PCM 220 boasts a compact design that packs a punch, delivering high precision and efficiency in a space-saving footprint. This innovative machine is ideally suited for prototyping and manufacturing small, intricate 2D and 3D components commonly used in communication, aerospace, medical, jewelry, watches, small automobile components, graphite/electrodes, dental, and education sectors.

Equipped with a high RPM spindle (up to 40,000 rpm), 4th & 5th Axis capability, 8 Auto Tool Changer ISO 20, and Industry-standard Mitsubishi M80 / Fanuc 0iMFPlus control with globally used G-Code Programming. The PCM 220 significantly reduces setup time and accelerates cycle times, ultimately increasing overall efficiency and productivity. The machine’s compact size allows it to fit into standard freight elevators and can be effortlessly relocated using a pallet jack or equipment dolly. Operator safety, ease of use, and increased functionality, along with a standard one-year warranty, make it a very compact, complete VMC package.

The PCM 220 is entirely designed and manufactured at Phillips Machine Tools’ facility in Pune, India. It will be distributed in markets including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Middle East, Malaysia, and Africa.
