9th Machine Tool Industry Summit to Host Industry’s Brightest Minds

Bengaluru and Goa, India – Machine tool makers, the backbone support system for India’s manufacturing growth, are all set to converge, exchange ideas, discuss the latest trends, share knowledge, and network as the highly anticipated ninth edition of the Machine Tool Industry Summit gets underway in Goa. Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) is organizing this biennial summit from May 30 - June 1, 2024, at Holiday Inn Resort, Goa. 

It was in the year 2005, an era when social media hadn’t penetrated the internet space, that IMTMA organized the first Machine Tool Industry Summit, which set the ball rolling for enhancing the Indian machine tool industry’s competitive edge and starting the journey to make it at par with the best in the world. The summit, in its 9th edition, will bring together esteemed leaders from the entire machine tool manufacturing community. 

The summit endeavors to chart a fresh course for the entire machine tool ecosystem through top-class brainstorming sessions, such as:

  • Exponential growth and transformation in Indian manufacturing towards a Viksit Bharat.
  • Current Standing Points in the Indian Machine Tool Industry and Evolution of Purpose and Vision declaration and Mission 2028 strategy.
  • High-potential sunrise manufacturing sectors in New India, having a significant impact on demand generation for capital goods and manufacturing technology.
  • Transformation in process engineering towards developing globally competitive manufacturing solutions; along with a concerted focus on R&D and new product development – meeting expectations of emerging customer sectors.
