Manleo Designs’s OPTO-Z

Manleo Designs’s OPTO-Z is a rugged, accurate and reliable automatic Z/Length Setter that is changing the way shop floors operate be it Aerospace, Automotive or Dies & Mold. One of the primary reasons for rework/rejection is due to incorrect tool length measurements and this happens when manual methods like paper or dials are used. Applications
OPTO-Z is suitable for various specifications of machine centers, VMC boring and milling machines, and drilling-tapping machine centers. It also finds use in checking the length of tools. OPTO-Z is a non-conductive probe with an optical-electronic mechanism. The Manleo Team can integrate it into machines that use Siemens, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi, and standard macros are available for these. Custom macros can be written on a need basis per organization and work culture. Other controllers’ macros can be written with machines available for development.
