Zeller+Gmelin Expands Product Range with Divinol Multi-Axle LS 80W-90

Eislingen, Germany – Zeller+Gmelin is constantly developing its product range: With Divinol Multi-Axle LS 80W-90, the lubricant manufacturer is now launching a high-performance gear oil for hypoid geared axle drives and self-locking differentials. The premium limited slip oil with LS additive in SAE class 80W-90 meets the highest performance requirements even in dirt, dust, heat, or cold. For example, it is ideal for the construction, logistics, or agricultural sectors, where it is used, among other things, for telescopic cranes, earthmoving machinery, and tractors.

As a long-standing supplier of engine and transmission oils for the automotive sector under the Divinol brand, Zeller+Gmelin is a well-known partner of automobile manufacturers and Tier 1 supplier companies. The growing range includes two-stroke oils, single-grade and multi-grade oils for commercial vehicles, cars, and motorcycles.

“With Divinol Multi-Axle LS 80W90, we are now presenting our global users a multigrade hypoid gear oil of the latest generation with limited-slip additives,” explains Andreas Krapf, Automotive Product Manager, Zeller+Gmelin. “This is not only ideal for heavy-duty machines and vehicles in particularly difficult terrain, but due to its versatility and efficiency, it also contributes to the rationalization of types in the fleet.” For example, it can also be used as a conventional GL-5 transmission filling, which allows the existing oil balance in mixed fleets to be optimized.

Versatile and long-term stable

The lubricant has already received an approval for the ZF TE-ML 05N and 21N standards from the Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen (ZF). Thus, it covers the previous standards ZF TE-ML 05C and 21C, which means that the new limited-slip gear oil is backwards compatible and can therefore easily be used for previous standards. Thanks to its special formulation based on high-quality, low-sulfur base oils, the product is characterized by high long-term stability and significantly reduces wear in the gearbox. The unique composition also enables longer service lives compared to the prior standards, ZF TE-ML 05C and 21C, inter alia, through optimal protection against deposits.

Predestined for Liebherr construction machines

Krapf concludes, “With our new hypoid gear oil Divinol Multi-Axle LS 80W90, we not only meet the increased requirements of numerous machine and vehicle manufacturers, but our high-performance lubricant is also particularly suitable for Liebherr brand construction machines, as it meets the required phosphorus level of >1900 ppm without any problems.”
