Introducing the Fastest Friction Welder

For more than three decades, ETA Technology has been transforming Friction Welding globally with its consistent innovation. Continuing that tradition, the company has introduced its latest iteration of Smart Friction Welders, which it is to be showcased at IMTEX 2024. The welders come with the ‘Cycle Time’ challenge which is the promise of providing the fastest welds ever.

Rotary friction welding has been long known to create weldments that are stronger than the parent material, all without the need for filler material, edge preparation, or shielding gases. This entire process is repeatable, operator skill-independent and takes only a few seconds (depending on the size).

Key Features of ETA Technology’s Friction Welders

They provide the fastest welds and a nil leakage of hydraulics. They offer precise length control of the job and maintain orientation accuracy within ± 0.5°. They have a worldwide support base.

Solutions include single-head/twin-head configurations, with/without deflash (shearing, turning etc.), manual to fully automated options and tonnages going up to 1000 T.

The company’s technical team at the booth will be available to advise on the best method of production as well help to re-engineer your parts to suit friction welding.
