Spider/Cross development started in August 2019, focusing on critical localization projects. The company had success for the first time right in this project within a short timeline. 

Spider swiftly transitioned from the initial production of 5,000 units/month to a remarkable 66 lakh units/annum. The company’s growth trajectory led it to cover 40 percent of the Indian PV market. 

It operates a dedicated UJ-Cross production line, seamlessly handling every step from raw-material to final seal assembly under one roof. With advanced heat treatment facilities controlled by cutting-edge SCADA systems, approved by major OEMs like Maruti, Tesla, Toyota, Hyundai and KIA, the company ensures unparalleled quality. 

The extensive range of spider parts varies from Ø10 mm to Ø36 mm, with ongoing developments in differential spiders. 

What sets the company apart is its commitment to precision. Spider/Cross undergoes forging and direct grinding processes using lean methodology, eliminating the need for machining. It maintains high accuracy and precision tolerances, especially in cylindricity, roundness, and waviness, delivering 7.5 million units with zero defects and customer complaints.
