IMTMA Introduces Two Day B2B Expo, Machine Tool Connect Kolhapur, to Foster Regional Growth

Bengaluru, India – Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA), which organizes IMTEX, is launching the first-ever Machine Tool Connect Kolhapur on October 8-9, 2023, at The Pavillion Hotel in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Machine Tool Connect Kolhapur 2023 would bring machine tool builders with potential user industries from the western region of India to explore business opportunities.

IMTMA by organizing the expo is providing an economical model for exhibitors to promote their brand and reach out to the untapped markets in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Machine Tool Connect Kolhapur 2023 will enable exhibitors to augment their products, create awareness, acquire new customers, and meet channel partners.

Speaking about the new initiative, Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO, IMTMA, said, “The primary aim of IMTMA is to organize similar small format expos in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as well. Machine Tool Connect Kolhapur 2023 is a unique model for exhibitors to take technologies to the doorsteps of MSMEs. We believe that this two day B2B expo would trigger the growth of industries in the region.”

Stating that Kolhapur is a key industrial hub in the western region with a strong presence of various industries such as agriculture implants, automobile, and auto components, construction, die and mold, engineering goods, foundry, railways, textiles, and so on, he added, “User industries from Kolhapur, Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Satara, Solapur and Pune, and the entire region would have an opportunity to establish links and augment their business by several notches.”
