New Delhi, India – Karam Safety Pvt Ltd (KSPL), India’s leading PPE manufacturing enterprise, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Delhi’s Corporate Relations and Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) to partner and develop a Smart Monitoring System (SMS) to detect and alert the user of unsafe conditions while working at height. The Project will be helmed by Prof Sunil Jha, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Prof Husain Kanchwala, Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology, IIT Delhi. The signing ceremony was also attended by ZA Mohd, Chief Technology Advisor, Karam Safety.
As an Indian multinational with over two decades of experience in manufacturing safety gear, Karam Safety has always ensured innovation, quality, and safety when manufacturing or designing PPE. Partnering with IIT Delhi’s Corporate Relations and Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) is a bold step towards advocating safety for workers across industries. It further catapults the adoption of Smart PPE.
