EV Maker Altigreen Opens its First Retail Dealership in India in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, India – Altigreen, India’s leading Electric Vehicle (EV) maker, in collaboration with Magnum Ventures, launches its first retail dealership in India in Bengaluru in the presence of Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, IT-BT, Science & Technology, Skill Development, Govt of Karnataka. The retail dealership was inaugurated by the Minister in the presence of Dr Amitabh Saran, Founder & CEO, Altigreen, and Dr MP Shyam, Owner, Magnum Ventures.

Altigreen’s retail dealership launch focuses on providing its customers with an enhanced and never-before-seen experience through world-class and modern infrastructure. Every aspect of the dealership has been designed to be welcoming, especially to the curious auto rickshaw drivers who walk in. Altigreen has gone to great lengths to ensure that the dealership reflects the company’s ethos of respect, empathy, and gaining consumer trust through open dialogue.

The Bengaluru-based firm is constantly expanding its capabilities through innovation and has aggressive expansion plans to broaden its pan-India presence and meet rising demand. The company’s product offering is built around four pillars: the longest range, the largest volumetric capacity, the highest ground clearance, and the greatest torque. Its commercial electric 3W offering neEV recently completed a 150+ km intercity drive between two iconic Karnataka locations, namely Mysore Palace and Bangalore Palace, on a single charge in about six hours. Furthermore, the company recently announced a partnership to launch the fastest-charging three-wheeler, as well as over 100 chargers in Bengaluru.

Dr Narayan congratulated Dr Shyam on the establishment of the dealership, and praised the company’s efforts in leading India’s EV transformation with its advanced commercial EVs. The Minister also stated that the electric vehicle market would be worth INR 475 billion by 2025, citing the backdrop of environmental concerns and asserting that the dealership will make EVs more accessible to Bengaluru residents, encouraging them to switch from fossil fuels.

Dr Saran commented, “In the B2B segment, the company is well-positioned to cater to the needs of large institutional customers and intends to take a leadership position. Altigreen further believes it is important to cater to the Market Load Operators (also referred to as the B2C segment) who contribute up to 80 percent of the overall market.”

“Going forward, we will continue to deliver the most advanced EVs best-suited for Indian cargo and passenger mobility needs. Dealer and Channel partners will be the catalyst for market expansion and enable our fast-growth journey. We intend to expand to the top 40 cities in the next 6 months,” he further added.

Dr Shyam, stated, “We firmly believe the future of mobility is electric, and we wish to champion this cause. With Magnum Ventures, Altigreen’s first retail dealership in Bengaluru, we are proud to display and sell Altigreen’s world-class products under one roof.”
