Hyderabad, India – Maiwir Engineering, a steel-composite design, fabrication, and construction firm based in Hyderabad, has developed a patented construction technology that reduces construction costs by at least 20 percent and construction time by up to 60 percent. Recently, India’s premier defense research organization, the Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO), partnered with Maiwir Engineering as a structural steel design and build contractor to design and build a 7-story research facility at the Aeronautical Development Establishment Campus in Bengaluru, for the indigenous development of fifth-generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA). This structure was completed in a record 45 days, helping to realize the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Atma-Nirbhar Bharat’.
