Global Industrie 2022 to Feature Two Theme Villages Dedicated to AI & Cybersecurity

Lyon, France – Global Industrie 2022 will highlight the teeming activity of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which opens up new areas for research through machine learning (ML) or Deep Learning and intervenes in the fields of production, planning, control, predictive maintenance, and so on, with the goal of improving industrial performance with two theme villages. The first will promote a concrete European AI initiative, foster commercial synergies among businesses, and strengthen a European ecosystem of AI companies, professionals, and academics. The second will cover advancements in cybersecurity for businesses. The event organized by GL Events will take place at Paris Nord Villepinte (Halls 5a and 6), from May 17-20, 2022. The event is expected to attract 2,300 exhibitors, with 40 percent of them coming from abroad, from around forty countries; 40,000 visitors; 100,000 m² of exhibition floor space; and 1,500 machines in operation, making it France’s biggest factory.

The AI Village (Hall 5):

The 300 m² AI Village (in the Smart Sector: digitalization, automation, mechatronics) will bring together around thirty French and foreign start-ups and large companies proposing an Artificial Intelligence solution. It will be set up with the Directorate General for Enterprise (DGE) and awarded the PFUE label (marking the French Presidency of the European Union).

The Cybersecurity Village (Hall 5):

Data protection, cloud and IoT environment security, and so on are major issues for Industry 4.0. Global Industrie will bring together companies capable of informing its visitors on this issue and presenting the solutions that are currently available to assist them and raise their awareness of the growing cyber threats.
