Grind Master Bags GITA National Award

Aurangabad, India – Grind Master Machines Pvt Ltd, the pioneering and leading manufacturer of automatic deburring, grinding, and superfinishing machines, recently received the prestigious GITA National Award, which is instituted by the Government of India (GoI), Department of Science & Technology (DST), and Technology Development Board (TDB). This year’s theme was ‘Technologies that Make Global Impact’ and the company was chosen based on the current CEO Sameer Kelkar’s Robotic Fettling Technology, which has a global impact.

Furthermore, Kelkar has been named the recipient of the Loksatta Tarun Tejankit Award 2021, awarded by the LOKSATTA (The Indian Express [P] Ltd). He joined Grind Master in 2010 after receiving an education in robotics from Berkeley University of California and working in Switzerland. Several R&D developments that assisted Indian companies in becoming ATMANIRBHAR were completed under his leadership at Grind Master, including ROBOTIC Fettling of Castings for Foundry.

These technologies are licensed to the USA (Reverse trend in licensing Technology). Global Leading Foundries chose him to develop very Special Technologies for Fettling CI & Steel ALLOY Castings. BRADKEN from Canada, MEGGATEUX from France, and John Deere from the United States are a few examples.
