Beamex and Siemens Collaborate to Make Paperless Calibration Workflows

Jakobstad, Finland – Beamex and Siemens collaborate to enable paperless calibration workflows, allowing customers using Siemens Lifecycle Management Suite (LMS) to now benefit from integration with Beamex CMX Calibration Management Software. The integration, which debuted with the release of LMS version 1.3, enables Siemens LMS customers to generate a paperless flow of calibration data, save time, and reduce the risk of errors in their calibration documentation through an automated and digitalized workflow. The integration with Siemens LMS also provides significant benefits for CMX users, such as instrument data synchronization, which ensures that the correct instrument information is always used for calibration.

Beamex CMX Calibration Management Software is an automated, vertically integrated digital solution that assists customers in safely and efficiently planning, managing, analyzing, and documenting all calibration work and assets. It is easy to use, reducing the time and cost of calibration work while eliminating the possibility of human error and minimizing the risk of noncompliance.

Siemens Lifecycle Management Suite is an IT platform for optimizing process automation maintenance. Siemens improves plant upkeep by planning, implementing, and documenting all service activities. The preconfigured system, based on COMOS MRO, provides standard operating procedures for lifecycle services assigned to existing integrated SIMATIC PCS 7 system components and process instrumentation.
