HCL CAMWorks Announces ZOLLER Interface in CAMWorks

Noida, India – HCL Technologies (HCL) announces the integration of the ZOLLER TMS Tool Management Solutions Interface into HCL CAMWorks software. The ZOLLER Interface provides users with advanced tool database management options, a tool overview, and eliminates the need to maintain several tool databases.

The ZOLLER Interface in CAMWorks standardizes tool data and automates data exchange between the two software systems. Users just need to submit their cutting tool information once into the central ZOLLER tool database, and the tools are immediately imported into CAMWorks. All tool parameters, including contour line for holder and cutter, specific tool type, and technology data, such as feeds and speeds, are captured. The interface also allows users to define tools in the ZOLLER TMS Tool Management Solutions software with the same tool types and parameters that are used in CAMWorks.

When a part model is programmed, the ZOLLER Interface generates a setup sheet that includes a list of tools used for the part. The setup sheet aids in tool assembly, measurement, and delivering measured values to the machine for cutting the parts. The CAMWorks ZOLLER Interface reduces manual tool data entry and improves tool management.
