Mumbai, India – Edelweiss General Insurance (EGI), a digital insurer, has partnered with Ashv Finance, a tech-led NBFC with over 100 locations in India, to provide financial protection to all business loan borrowers. While Ashv provides timely credit to fund the growing aspirations of small enterprises and MSMEs, EGI will ensure that their dreams are not stifled by offering health insurance coverage to protect the financial interests of this critical segment.
As part of the agreement, EGI will provide health insurance coverage to all Ashv Finance customers in all major cities across the country. The policy will offer collateral for the business loan if the borrower is involved in an accident or suffers from a critical illness. In addition, the coverage will provide a daily cash benefit in the event of a hospitalization. The level of coverage provided will be determined by the loan amount and loan term selected by the customer. Customers will benefit from complete ease and convenience as the business loan and insurance policy are processed concurrently, digitally, and with no paperwork.
