New Delhi, India – Charge CCCV (C4V), a battery technology provider based in the United States, has introduced LiSER battery technology in India. Lithium slim energy reserve (LiSER), a unique cell technology platform, delivers a breakthrough cell technology platform to address supply chain, cost, and battery performance challenges.
The platform fueling C4V’s quest for a cleaner, greener, and more cost-effective energy storage future is made more useful and environmentally friendly by LiSER’s robust structural design and industry-leading low carbon footprint. It allows for an industry-leading cell-to-chassis and cell-to-pack solution with superior performance metrics. Furthermore, the technology has superior safety properties as a result of C4V’s oxygen-deficient patented BMLMP technology.
Advantages and features:
C4V’s super high-speed coating and stacking technique significantly reduces capital investment in cell manufacturing by 30 percent per GWh. Furthermore, the reduction of Aluminum and Copper metal from lithium-ion cells results in additional cost savings on a $/Kwh basis, making LiSER an attractive investment for new Gigafactories.
Delighted to unveil the revolutionary innovation in the battery space, Shailesh Upreti, CEO, C4V, stated, “The technology not only allows our BMLMP Chemistry to compete with Cobalt & Nickel based batteries at the pack level but also enables Giga-scale production to be more sustainable with our breakthrough high-speed manufacturing processes. A leading cell to pack or cell to chassis design that can bridge the gap between energy density and power density in a very safe mechanism would allow us to cater to various market verticals with a single cell technology platform, and we are supercharged as our OEM partners start sharing their experiences with us.”
Stating that the world today is reeling from a shortage of semiconductors to price shockwaves felt across the automotive and consumer electronics industries as a result of raw material shortages, Kuldeep Gupta, Vice President (Strategic Partnership), C4V, added, “As Indian EV markets grow exponentially, C4V aims to solve similar trends across critical battery materials like Cobalt and Nickel very soon. Supporting our Hon’ble Prime Minister’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat mission’, our goal is to make the country self-reliant in terms of EV generation in all respects. The automotive manufacturing sector in India is a major contributor to the GDP and we, as an ancillary, wholeheartedly support the mission of making the country an EV superpower in the next 5 years.”
