Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – Ansoprint is exclusively distributing its 3D printing systems and patented technology through Sedaxis to accelerate the global adoption of 3D printing with continuous fiber-reinforced composites. Sedaxis and the Luxembourg-based continuous fiber 3D printing specialist have signed an exclusive reseller agreement for the Indian market.
The partnership will give Indian companies access to advanced composite end-use part production technology while also supporting R&D institutes in cutting-edge composite materials and applications research. Engineers and scientists with decades of experience in composite materials manufacturing developed ‘Anisoprinting’. 3D printing professionals can use the tried-and-proven technology to create high-strength lattice structures, customize fiber/plastic volume ratios, and have full toolpath access via open G-code...all within a fully open material and open parameter system.
The patented Continuous Fiber Co-Extrusion (CFC) technology developed by Anisoprint is gaining popularity in India. Sedaxis Advanced Materials Pvt Ltd has been selling composite materials and processing equipment in the composite IMEA (India/Middle East/Africa) markets since 1996, and will now exclusively distribute Anisoprint’s patented hardware.
On the partnership, Vishwanath Godavarty, Business Head,3DP, Sedaxis Advanced Materials, commented, “Until recently, the Indian ecosystem has had to endure a lack of options in continuous composite 3D printing systems. The introduction of Anisoprint’s fully open systems in India in 2019 has had an overwhelming response from some of India’s leading research institutions and universities. Industries too have been quick to notice the benefits of Anisoprint’s CFC systems: lower operational expenditure thanks to open materials and a first-of-its-kind composite lightweight functionality. As Anisoprint’s exclusive partner in India, we look forward to supporting innovation in India’s manufacturing sector while taking this relationship to the next level.”
In this regard, Gennady Shafir, Director of Customer Success, Anisoprint, said, “We work with a global network of trusted resellers to accelerate the adoption of our technology in every part of the world. By partnering with Sedaxis, we are able to focus our resources and have a greater impact.”
