Bengaluru, India – Igus, the global leader in Motion Plastics, recently announced an aggressive growth plan and strategy in the wake of 20 years of successful operations in India. igus India, the 9th largest market globally and the 3rd largest market in the APAC region, has been growing in double digits for several years (except during the pandemic year) and is currently growing at a rate of 30 percent above the previous record year on average. In the next three to four years, igus India hopes to double its revenue to INR 300 crores. Among a host of plans to drive growth in the next phase, the company also announced the launch of a ‘virtual show booth’ featuring its entire product line, which can be viewed, tried, and tested both virtually and physically by customers.
Customers will be able to interact with product experts through the innovative virtual booth, which will provide an immersive experience similar to that of a face-to-face expo. At igus’s global headquarters in Cologne, Germany, the first such innovative virtual trade show was set up. Following the huge success of the virtual expo in Germany, which attracted over 100,000 visitors from all over the world, igus India has created its own IMPS (Igus Motion Plastic Show) virtual show booth for its customers in the Indian Subcontinent.
Announcing the launch of the virtual product expo titled IMPS and emphasizing India as of the key markets in the world for the company, Deepak Paul, Managing Director, igus (India) said, “Having achieved an impressive double-digit growth for the last 20 years in India, igus India’s range of motion plastics with its motto ‘tech up; cost down’ has been widely accepted across all manufacturing industries.
